Homecoming

Before we checked out on Tuesday Kate said good bye to younger (by 4 hours) friend Preslie. For those of you who don't Preslie is the daughter of our good friends Joe and Jamie. Yes it is true Jamie and Jamie whom have been friends since the 5th grade had baby girls just four hours and one hospital wall apart.


Although Kate cried the whole time, the ride home was less eventful than anticipated. We made it home around 7:00pm on Monday night. We left earlier that morning but I think I averaged about 6mph down HWY 99 - hazard lights on of course. We introduced Kate to her new room and the next day to her new four legged friend.


We will miss the help at the hospital but there is no place like home.

Well, that was a fast 39 days and an even faster 39 weeks!

Kate Marie Bergman was born at Swedish Medical Center on January 20th at 7:54pm. She weighed in at 7lbs. 12oz. and stretched out to a whoppping 18 inches (however she measured 19.5 two days later). Kate is happily getting along in the world while her mother and father can't believe they even found the time to author this post :)
